Lisa Donaldson is a writer, mother of 3 beautiful girls, a progressive rock fan, Twitter addict, Webmaster, and a Breast Cancer Survivor!
She has a First Class BSc.(Hons) Degree in Mathematical Sciences, and now happily writes full-time. Her previous occupations include Government Statistician (Dept. For Education); Supply Chain Analyst (Safeway); Civil Servant (Unemployment Benefit Offices); Statistician (ICI); and more recently she was a Business Banking Manager (LloydsTSB).
Her first book was the true story of her fight against Breast Cancer, at 37 with three young children, and the drastic risk-reduction measures taken to mitigate the possible effects of the BRCA1 gene. This book was short-listed as one of the four finalists in the Brit Writers' Award for non-fiction, 2011.
Lisa is now writing her first novel.
